I Believe in Love

RELATIONSHIPS, we learn sooner or later, is a puzzling, ruthless process - a chemistry, a magical spell, a dance, a gamble.

Wanting to fall in love almost seems like an unfashional view these days -- it sounds a bit anxious, naive, and over-eager. It's a view generally represented by the young . Love sometimes turns out to be more of a living fantasy, a willful projection of all that you believe it should be, which can fade away after hovering between familiarity and disappointment for too long.

When I was younger, I was a princess that dreamt of that charming prince that existed somewhere and who was simply waiting for the right time for us to meet. + Read Full Essay

The Romance In Romantic Movies

Connect to the Believer In You

Every once in a while, you may happen to chance upon a movie with a storyline that could be very well be your own. You end up submerged in the movie because of the portrayed emotions that mirror your own.

Romantic movies can help you find that hidden spot in your heart that's always believed in true love. You reconnect with that part of you that's vulnerable in every sense of the word to all the hurt and pain and joy that you can only come to know by completely and selflessly opening yourself up.+ Read This Essay In Full

QUICK INFO

• What is Cornbip?

The Philippine word for the processed good, Corned Beef.

• Does Corned Beef Really Have Corn?

Corning is a form of curing; it has nothing to do with corn. The name comes from Anglo-Saxon times before refrigeration. In those days, the meat was dry-cured in coarse "corns" of salt. Pellets of salt, some the size of kernels of corn, were rubbed into the beef to keep it from spoiling and to preserve it.

• Why Cornbip?

Cornbip is a common item found in many household pantries. It's a relatively inexpensive, quick meal to serve and can be cooked in several ways that can satisfy anyone's hunger.

Although this site doesn't really have anything to do with food nor cooking, I have chosen this domain name because its contents are best served to an audience with an unfussy appetite for an eclectic mix of photos and writings.
