I purchased the domain name, CornBip.com last August 2005, but the website as you see it now wasn't conceptualized into its current look and feel, its final form until March 2006.
It's a very dynamic site -- constantly changing. Be sure to so that you can drop by every so often.

Hello, Welcome to our Website
background On CORNBIP.COM
The inspiration for the domain name itself, CornBip.com, came from my boyfriend, Roan. It's his Yahoo! screenname, and I've taken to using it as well with my own female counterpart set of CornBip screennames (i.e., miss_cornbip, lady_cornbip, etc).
A uniquely delicious domain name, I thought it to be the perfect backdrop for a new website that talks about the new me, my present life. It serves as my outlet for when things are going great and not-so-great. It's a place to store memories, a way to find me. This is my art. My own personal online playground.
For reference, I've provided a "Quick Info" guide on the term "CornBip" to the right of this column, which can also be found on several pages throughout the site.
And So?
People may wonder why I even bother with this site -- I'm not a celebrity nor anyone famous by any of society's means or measure. Not yet anyway. Or not so much in so many words. I live an un-spectacular life, averagely normal, so why go through all this trouble? Why have a whole website dedicated to people, places, events, and other things of interest to myself?
Well first of all, it's my website. Mine. Ours. Not yours.
Maybe I'm just one of those people that likes to hear the sound of her voice, see her words in print vain. In fact, those that know me may even go as far as tease me about how this website is so me -- self-conscious, slightly cocky, loud; but without a doubt it is also my heart worn on my sleeve -- open, vulnerable, nothing to hide.
Contrary to all this, I really am shy by nature (really!), and I'm only well-known to a select group I lovingly call people who have enough patience to put up with me my friends and family. I'm a very flexible person, friendly, welcoming, hospitable, and can adapt well to new people, new situations -- but it takes more than a few conversations to get past the outer shell.
This website is a journey to self-discovery, and invitation for you to join in the adventure.

• What is Cornbip?
The Philippine word for the processed good, Corned Beef.
• Does Corned Beef Really Have Corn?
Corning is a form of curing; it has nothing to do with corn. The name comes from Anglo-Saxon times before refrigeration. In those days, the meat was dry-cured in coarse "corns" of salt. Pellets of salt, some the size of kernels of corn, were rubbed into the beef to keep it from spoiling and to preserve it.
• Why Cornbip?
Cornbip is a common item found in many household pantries. It's a relatively inexpensive, quick meal to serve and can be cooked in several ways that can satisfy anyone's hunger.
Although this site doesn't really have anything to do with food nor cooking, I have chosen this domain name because its contents are best served to an audience with an unfussy appetite for an eclectic mix of photos and writings.
